The pretty perfect Pitaya

it may be the middle of winter, but that won't stop be from having a fruit-filled frozen breakfast! Although Acai has been all the rage there is a new kid on the block known as Pitaya (otherwise referred to as dragonfruit), a company called "Pitaya Plus" has recently brought their product over to selected stores in WA (we're always the last place in Australia...to get new products) They are providing 100% pure organic frozen pink dragonfruit ready for you to make the most perfect smoothie bowls that are guaranteed to the prettiest bright pink!

What You'll need: (can be completely changed up depending on what you have on hand)

1 x packet of frozen pink pitaya pulp

frozen bananas (I usually go for around 3-5, just depending on size)

1 CUP of frozen strawberries

the juice and some of the pulp of 1 passionfruit- reserve some for topping

a splash of coconut water or OJ

*alternatively replace either bananas with frozen mango- which are unfortunately not in season at the moment and either/or the strawberries with frozen pineapple, best thing to do is mix it up and find what works best for you and your taste buds

Add all your ingredients to a high speed blender (yet again used my VITAMIX) and just blend till smooth, then pour into a bowl. The choices of toppings are endless but rawnola or some sort of granola is essential!
